I want to personal Finance Tracker in Sheets.

INSTALL (run in my terminal)

search → find tools. execute → run them. link → connect accounts.

Workflow: search → execute. If execute fails with an auth error, run link, then retry. Don't preemptively link accounts. Bias toward action — input validation and auth errors are self-descriptive, just try it.

  execute
    Run a tool. Handles input validation and auth checks automatically.
    If auth is missing, the error tells you what to run.

    Connect an account. Only when execute tells you to.

TASK: Multi-Tab Finance Tracker From Scratch
Likely toolkits: Google Sheets, Web Search.

Steps:
  1. Create the workbook with your title
  2. Add tabs for Income, Expenses, Goals, Portfolio, and Dashboard
  3. Seed each tab's headers and starter rows for your categories and goals
  4. Author cross-tab formulas on the Dashboard. SUMIF by month, goal-progress %, runway calculation.
  5. Apply conditional formatting. Green for income, red for overdrawn categories, gradient for goal progress.
  6. For each ticker, enrich with the current quote and write into the Portfolio tab
  7. Return the spreadsheet URL
