What is Composio Connect?

Composio Connect is a consumer offering that lets anyone plug 1,500+ applications directly into their agent harness — including Hermes. It can:

  • Search and load tools from relevant toolkits on-demand, reducing context usage.
  • Chain multiple tools to accomplish complex workflows via a remote workbench, without excessive back-and-forth with the LLM.
  • Manage app authentication end-to-end with zero manual overhead.

Integrating Maildroppa with Hermes

Using Composio Connect CLI

1. Install the Composio CLI

Run the install script directly, or paste https://composio.dev/hermes into your Hermes chat box to have it installed for you.

2. Authenticate

Once the CLI is installed, ask Hermes to authenticate with Composio.

3. Connect to Maildroppa

Ask your agent to connect to Maildroppa, or simply request any Maildroppa-related task. Hermes will prompt you to authenticate and authorize access.

4. Done. You're all set with a new Maildroppa connection.

Using Composio Connect MCP

1. Get your MCP URL and API Key

Go to dashboard.composio.dev and copy your Connect MCP URL and API key.

2. Open the Hermes config file

The Maildroppa MCP server is an implementation of the Model Context Protocol that connects your AI agent and assistants like Claude, Cursor, etc directly to your Maildroppa account. It provides structured and secure access to your subscribers, segments, tags, signup forms, and RSS newsletter settings, so your agent can manage subscribers, build segments, organize tags, inspect forms, and review RSS newsletter configurations on your behalf.

  • Subscriber management: Have your agent create individual subscribers or import small batches, search and filter your audience, review subscriber details and activity, or remove subscribers.
  • Audience segmentation: Let the agent create, inspect, count, update, and delete segments based on subscriber fields, tags, or other segment conditions.
  • Tag organization: Direct your agent to create and rename tags, check where they are used, archive unused tags, or restore archived tags.
  • Signup form review: Instruct your agent to list your signup forms and retrieve the ordered fields needed to render an active form on a trusted website.
  • RSS newsletter checks: Have your agent review RSS newsletter configurations and inspect available sender profiles, including their verification and delivery readiness.
