Open Instinct
An open-source personal agent you text over iMessage, SMS, or email. Each agent has its own computer and can coordinate with the agents of people you trust.
What it does
Open Instinct gives each person an agent with a Linux desktop in a microVM. It can research, fill in forms, create PDFs, and arrange bookings. Six permission tiers control what other people's agents can request, so a friend's agent can ask about availability without reading an inbox. With all Composio toolkits enabled, users can connect an app by name from a text message and receive its sign-in link. The project supports local use, self-hosting, and deployment on Maritime. Optional Stripe Link payments use single-use cards approved by the owner.
What Composio powers
Composio's Tool Router connects the agent to apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts over MCP. Every tool call passes through Open Instinct's permission policy, including requests from another person's agent.
