# Toolkit

A toolkit is a collection of related tools for one external service, such as GitHub, Gmail, or Slack.

A toolkit groups individual actions under one integration. A GitHub toolkit can contain separate tools for creating an issue, reading a repository, and listing pull requests. A toolkit count and a tool count measure different things.

In Composio, the toolkit identifies the service and its authentication options. A connected account supplies a user's credentials when its tools execute.
